True Stories - Capitulo Uno
A rarities compilation featuring five tracks from the bands early days.
All tracks are making their vinyl debut

1) Can’t Seem To Make You Mine (Mendoza) 3:58
This was originally released on the out-of-print Wendy Bailey / True Stories album, String Theory, with multiple SDMA winning jazz keyboardist Ed Kornhauser sitting in. True Stories later re-recorded the song in a new arrangement with producer Alan Sanderson, for the album, Staring at the Sun XIII.
2) Lonely Is (As Lonely Does) (Holsapple)
A previously unreleased DB’s cover recorded for an Australian compilation, it ultimately wasn’t used.
3) Better Days (Mendoza / Randall)
Originally recorded by Mendoza’s earlier band, Mission: To Mars*, this version was included on the String Theory album.
4) This Wish (Mendoza / Troy)
Originally found on the Comet’s Tomorrow EP, the song is a co-write with blues guitarist Anna Troy, who also performed with The Troys (Elektra Records)
5) Comet’s Tomorrow (Mendoza / Morris)
There is also an unreleased version of this song recorded by Mission: To Mars*, this version was included on the Comet’s Tomorrow EP.
